residents impacted by spraying operations at Tropical Fruit. Centro de Accion Ambiental is an environmental organization in Puerto Rico that has been providing technical and organizing assistance to the Comite. | |

| Universidad Metropolitana (UMET) of Puerto Rico leads the project. Experts from NJIT, Rutgers Newark, Rutgers Camden, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), and the University of Puerto Rico also contributed to the project. | |

| TOSC provided technical review and comment on the sampling protocol, Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of various reports and on the health risk assessment. TOSC comments supplemented comments being submitted by the community group. The first phase of the TOSC project in Guayanilla is complete, but a second component focusing on community education is being considered. | |
