TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO BROWNFIELDS COMMUNITIES

The NHSRC TAB program working with Region 1 and 2 continues to develop and deliver assistance to Brownfields municipalities and other stakeholders. Both education and the application of science and technology are being provided. One project involves TAB in demonstrating the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard Guide to the Process of Sustainable Brownfields Redevelopement.

Another project involves multi-pilot municipalities in the application of innovative phytoremediation technology for Brownfields redevelopement. The TAB program is also continuing to identify new projects that can benefit by TAB participation.
